２月になりました。(It’s February.)

でも寒い日が続いています。(But the cold days are continuing.)

よく見ると河津桜の葉が膨らみだしてます。(If I look closely, the leaves of Kawazu cherry blossoms are swelling. )

ストックの蕾が色づきだしてます。(The stock buds are starting to change color. )

秋に植えた球根の花が咲いていました。(The flowers of the bulbs planted in autumn were blooming.)

昨日は節分でした。恵方巻を食べ、豆をまきました。(Yesterday was Setsubun. We ate ehomaki and threw beans.)
そして、今年が明るい年になりますように願いました。(And I hope that this year will be a bright year. )

2月10日雪が降りました。
雪をかぶった紅梅と白梅がきれいです。(It snowed on February 10th.
The snow-capped red and white plum blossoms are beautiful.)

今日は１月２７日です。(Today is January 27th.)

雪がチラつきました。(It was snowing.)

とても寒い日です。(It’s a very cold day.)

冬の庭は、花が少なく寂しいです。(Winter gardens are lonely with few flowers.)

そこで、イベリスとカレンジュラを買ってきました。(So I bought Iberis and Calendula.)

お正月は穏やかな晴天でした。(It was a mild sunny day on New Year’s Day.)

庭の気温は１３度くらいです。(The temperature in the garden is about 13 degrees.)

今年は、明るい年になって欲しいです。(I want this year to be a bright year.)

毎日寒い日が続いています。(It’s been cold every day.)

９月に植えた花の種が大きくなって来ました。(The seeds of the flowers I planted in September are getting bigger.)

私はSTLファイルをダウンロードしてプリントを楽しんでいます。(I downloaded the STL file and
I enjoy printing.)

本格的な寒さが始まりました。(The real cold has started.)

朝は、花壇の土にも霜が降りています。(In the morning, the soil in the flower bed is also covered with frost.)

庭の手入れが少なくなりました。今は、私は、家の中で３Dプリンターで印刷することが増えました。

クリスマスツリーの準備をしました。(I prepared the Christmas tree.)

ビオラやパンジーの花が咲き始めました。(Violas and pansies are starting to bloom.)

夏からのペチュニアも咲いています。(Petunia is blooming from summer.)

朝晩が寒くなり、冬が近いことを感じます。(The mornings and evenings are getting colder, and I feel that winter is approaching.)

紅葉が進んでいます。(Autumn leaves are progressing.)

お墓参りに行ったお寺の紅葉が奇麗でした。(The autumn leaves of the temple where I went to visit the grave were beautiful.)

寒川神社にお参りに行ってきました。(I went to visit Samukawa Shrine.)

健康をお願いしました。(I wish god my good health in the future.)

七五三のお参りに来た可愛い子供たちが沢山いました。(There were many cute children who came to visit Shichigosan.)

秋の花菊が飾ってありました。(It was decorated with autumn chrysanthemums.)

久しぶりに神社に行ったら七五三の可愛い子供たちがいました。(When I went to the shrine for the first time in a while, there were cute children of Shichigosan.)

七五三の意味(Meaning of Shichigosan):医療の発達が未熟で衛生面もよくなかった昔は、子どもの死亡率がとても高く、7歳になって一人前であると認められていました。
子どもが無事に育つことは大きな喜びであり、親として健やかな成長を願いました。それゆえ、3歳、5歳、7歳に成長を神様に感謝し、お祝いをしたことが七五三の由来とされています。
明治時代には「七五三」と呼ばれて庶民にも広まり、大正時代以降に晴れ着を着て神社にお参りするようになりました。(In the past, when medical care was immature and hygiene was not good, the mortality rate of children was very high, and it was recognized that children were mature at the age of 7.
It was a great joy for me to see my child grow up safely, and as a parent I wished for their healthy growth. Therefore, Shichi-Go-San is said to have originated from celebrating the growth of children aged 3, 5, and 7 by thanking God for their growth.
In the Meiji era, it was called “Shichi-Go-San” and spread to the common people, and from the Taisho era onwards, people began to wear festive clothes and visit shrines.)
