２０２５年が始まりました。(The year 2025 has begun.)
どのような年になるのでしょうか？(What kind of year will it be?)
梅の花が、咲き始めました。(Plum blossoms have started to bloom.)

毎日、寒いです。(It’s cold every day.)

東京は最高気温１０度です。(The highest temperature in Tokyo is 10 degrees.)

毎年、冬になると富士山の輪郭がはっきりしてきれいにみえます。(Every winter, the outline of Mt. Fuji becomes clear and looks beautiful.)

しかし、最近の富士山は、ぼやとして見えます。(However, Mount Fuji looks blurry these days.)

富士山を見ながら自転車で走るのは爽快です。(It’s refreshing to cycle while looking at Mount Fuji.)

ぼんやりとした富士山で残念です。(It’s a shame that Mount Fuji looks hazy.)

12月28日、雪をかぶった富士山が見えました。(On December 28th, I could see the snow-capped Mount Fuji.)

朝、起きると周りの畑が霜で白くなっています。(When I wake up in the morning, the surrounding fields are covered in white frost.)
サンパチェンスやホウセンカの花は、寒さで駄目になってしまいました。(The sunpatiens and balsam flowers have been destroyed by the cold.)
ベランダの温室においてあるパイナップルやブーゲンビレアは、まだ、大丈夫です。(The pineapples and bougainvillea in the greenhouse on the balcony are still fine.)

山並みは心を癒してくれます。(The mountains are soothing to the soul.)

最高気温が、10度から１５度の間です。(The maximum temperature is between 10 and 15 degrees.)
寒い日が続いています。(The cold days continue.)
富士山の形が少し膨らんだようにっ見えます。(The shape of Mt. Fuji looks a little bulging.)
きっと、雪が積もったせいだと思います。(I think it’s probably because of the snow.)
ノースポールと黄梅の花が咲いています。(North pole and yellow plum blossoms are in bloom.)

19日の最高気温は１０度以下だそうです。(The maximum temperature on the 19th is expected to be below 10 degrees.)

スーパーマーケットへの道で楽しんでいます。(I enjoy it on the way to the supermarket.)

昨日と今日は、年末並みの寒さです。(Yesterday and today, it was as cold as the end of the year.)
それでも夏の花のサンパチェンスが咲いています。(Even so, the summer flower, Sunpatiens, is still in bloom.)
夏にホームセンターで”いつまでも咲きます。”と書いてあったものを買いました。(I bought some at a home improvement store in the summer that said “blooms forever.”)
こんなに長く咲いてくれるので嬉しいです。(I’m happy that they bloom for such a long time.)

夏、ホウセンカの種が周りにこぼれました。(In the summer, some balsam seeds were scattered all over the place.)
それから、たくさん苗が出ました。(And then, lots of seedlings sprouted.)
緑の葉が奇麗なのでそのままにしておきました。(I left them as they were because the green leaves were so pretty.)
今日、花が咲いていてびっくりしました。(I was surprised to see the flowers blooming today.)

少しずつ、花の冬支度をしています。(Little by little, I’m preparing the flowers for winter.)

ガイラルディアの成長が早いので、２度目の鉢替えをしました。(The Gaillardia grows quickly, so I repotted it for the second time.)

耐寒性も強いです。(It’s also very cold-resistant.)

春から夏にかけてきれいな花を咲かせてくれます。( It blooms beautifully from spring to summer.)

育てやすい花です。( It’s an easy flower to grow.)

朝が、寒くなりました。(It’s getting cold in the mornings.)

暖房をつけています。(I have the heating on.)

昼間は、太陽が出ていれば、寒くないです。(During the day, if the sun is out, it’s not cold.)

ダイヤモンドリリーの花が開きました。(The diamond lilies have bloomed.)

彼岸花と似ています。(They look similar to red spider lilies.)

この時期、花が少ないのでうれしいです。(I’m happy because there aren’t many flowers around this time of year.)

七五三とは、子どもの成長を祝う伝統的な行事です。(Shichi-go-san is a traditional event that celebrates the growth of children.)

七五三のお参りは、一般的に11月15日に行われます。(The Shichi-Go-San festival generally takes place on November 15th.)

子どもが無事に成長できるように”と願いを込めて行われてきました。(It was held with the hope that children would grow up safely.)

現在でも、神社にお参りして、晴れ着をきて写真を撮ります。(Even today, people visit a shrine, dress up in their best clothes and have their pictures taken.)

数年前種を植えた日本小菊が今年も咲き始めました。(The Japanese chrysanthemums I planted a few years ago have started to bloom again this year.)

去年、失敗して枯れてしまった野ボタンを買ってきました。(I bought some wild peonies that I failed to grow last year and they died.)

無事、冬越しできるようにします。(I’ll make sure they survive the winter.)

今日から、１０月下旬です。(Today marks the end of October.)

気温が低く、曇りで、北風が吹いています。(It’s cold, cloudy, and a north wind is blowing.)

９月に蒔いた花の種は、種類によっては、１０㎝ほどになりました。(Some of the flower seeds I planted in September have grown to about 10cm in size.)

大きくなったものから、大きめのポットに入れ替えています。(I’m transplanting the larger ones into larger pots.)

蒔いた種は、すべて芽が出ました。(All of the seeds I planted have sprouted.)

しかし、種類によっては１芽だけのもあるので育つか心配です。(However, some types have only one sprout, so I’m worried they won’t grow.)

今年は、一つずつ名札を付けて、丁寧に観察しようと思います。(This year ,I’m going to attach name tags to each one and observe them carefully)

10月２７日、ダイヤモンドリリーの蕾が、少し開きました。(On October 27th, the diamond lily buds have opened a little.)

今日は、気持ちの良い秋晴れです。(It’s a lovely clear autumn day today.)

高尾駅から武蔵陵付近まで歩きました。(I walked from Takao Station to the area near Musashi Imperial Tomb.)

少し汗ばんで歩くのが楽しかったです。(It was fun walking even though I was a little sweaty.)

キキョウの花が3つ咲きました。(Three bellflowers have bloomed.)
ダイヤモンドリリーの球根から芽が出始めました。(The diamond lily bulbs have started to sprout.)
ラフランスの花が咲きました。春に咲くはずですが・・(The La France pears have bloomed. They should bloom in the spring, but…)

昨日から、10月になりました。(It’s been October since yesterday.)
でも、今日の暑さは、夏に戻ったようです。(But with the heat today, it feels like summer has returned.)
ノースリーブや半袖の人が多いです。(Many people are wearing sleeveless or short sleeves.)
９月に植えた種が大きくなったものと発芽したばかりのようなものがあります。(Some of the seeds planted in September have grown large, while others seem to have just sprouted.)

同じ日に植えたのですが、種類によって違います。(The seeds were planted on the same day, but they differ depending on the type.)

今日は、晴天で動きやすい日です。(Today is a sunny day, making it easy to move around.)
ピンクキキョウの苗をホームセンターで買いました。(I bought some pink bellflower seedlings at the home improvement store.)
かわいい花です。(It’s very cute flowers.)
