今日から、４月１日です。(Today is the first day of April.)
でも、気温が低く雨も降っています。(But it’s cold and raining.)
桜が咲き始めました。(The cherry blossoms have started to bloom.)
天気が良くなったら見に行こうと思います。(I’ll go see them when the weather gets better.)

4月4日、久しぶりの晴天です。(April 4th, it’s sunny again.)
雨の中でも、少しずつ、蕾がついたり、実がなったりしていました。(Even in the rain, buds and fruit started to form little by little.)

３月下旬になりました。(It’s now late March.)

昨日降った雪は、とけてしまいました。(The snow that fell yesterday has melted.)

今日は、少し気温が上がり、動きやすかったです。(Today, the temperature rose a little, making it easier to move around.)

明日からは、暖かくなるそうです。(It’s supposed to get warmer from tomorrow.)

小田原城や箱根に行きました。(I went to Odawara Castle and Hakone.)
桜が、蕾だったのが残念でした。(It was a shame that the cherry blossoms were in bud.)
彫刻の森美術館は面白かったです。(The Hakone Open-Air Museum was interesting.)

今日は、ぽかぽか暖かいです。(It’s nice and warm today.)
春の匂いを感じます。(I can smell spring.)

３月１４日。(March 14th.)
花が咲き始めました。(Flowers are starting to bloom.)

去年の秋に植えた花の種からプリムラマラコイデスとプリムラローザンシャンが咲きました。(Primula malacoides and Primula rosanschan have bloomed from flower seeds I planted last fall.)

３月の初日は、１８度と暖かいです。(The first day of March is a warm 18 degrees.)
ここ数日は、暖かい春のような日が続いています。(The past few days have been warm and spring-like.)
でも、来週は、冬日に逆戻りだそうです。(But next week, it seems we’ll be back to winter.)
暖かい日になれた後にくる寒い日は、少しつらいです。(The cold weather after getting used to warm weather is a bit tough.)

3月3日は、ひな祭りです。(March 3rd is Hinamatsuri (Girl’s Day).)
女の子の健やかな成長を願います。(It is a day to pray for the healthy growth of girls.)
東京の郊外では、午後から雪が降っています。(In the suburbs of Tokyo, snow has been falling since the afternoon.)
満開の梅の花と一緒になってきれいです。(It is beautiful together with the plum blossoms in full bloom.)

朝、窓を開けたら雪の丹沢山が、きれいでした。富士山と丹沢山(Mt. Fuji and Mt. Tanzawa)

(When I opened the window in the morning, the snow-covered Mt. Tanzawa was beautiful.)

来週初めまで寒波が来ていて寒いそうです。(It’s going to be cold until early next week due to the cold wave.)

今の楽しみは、スーパーマーケットに行くときの富士山です。(My current enjoyment is seeing Mt. Fuji when I go to the supermarket.)
見る場所によって感動も違います。(The impression I get varies depending on where I see it.)

2月22日、雪が、ちらほら降りました。(On February 22nd, a light snowfall occurred.)

先週から、強い寒波が続いています。(A strong cold wave has continued since last week.)
天気予報では、１３日あたりから暖かくなると言っています。(The weather forecast says that it will get warmer from around the 13th.)
厳しい寒さが続く時の楽しみは、富士山がくっきりと見えることです。(The fun part about the severe cold is being able to see Mt. Fuji clearly.)
雪をかぶった富士山は、本当にきれいです。(Snow-capped Mt. Fuji is really beautiful.)
その横に、うっすらと雪をかぶった丹沢山があります。(Next to it is Mt. Tanzawa, thinly covered with snow.)

その景色を見ると心穏やかになります。(Seeing that view is soothing.)

２月１日は、暖かい日でした。(February 1st was a warm day.)
裏の川で、５羽の水鳥が遊んでいました。(Five water birds were playing in the river behind the house.)
天気予報では、明日は東京でも雪の可能性がある寒い日だそうです。(The weather forecast said that tomorrow would be a cold day even in Tokyo, with the possibility of snow.)

また、明日は節分です。(Also, tomorrow is Setsubun.)

節分は、邪気を払い、無病息災を願う行事といわれています。(Setsubun is said to be an event to ward off evil spirits and pray for good health.)

スーパーマーケットで鰯の匂いをつけた柊と大豆の茎のセットを購入してきました。(I bought a set of holly and soybean stalks scented with sardines at the supermarket.)
これは、厄除けになります。(This will ward off bad luck.)

明日の夜、豆をまきます。(Tomorrow night, we will throw beans.)
“鬼は外、福は内”と言いながら撒きます。(We will throw them while saying “Oni wa soto, fuku wa uchi” (Demons out, good fortune in).)

強い寒波が来ています。(A strong cold wave is coming.)
丹沢山と富士山がくっきり見えます。(Mt. Tanzawa and Mt. Fuji are clearly visible.)
冬ならではの景色です。(This is a view that can only be seen in winter.)

１月２０日は、暖かいです。(January 20th is warm.)
外を歩くのも気持ちよいです。(I feels good to walk outside.)

1月２７日は、底冷えのする寒い日です。(January 27th is a bitterly cold day.)
昨日は、快晴でした。富士山がくっきり見えました。(Yesterday was a clear day. Mt. Fuji was clearly visible.)

毎日寒い日が続いています。(It’s been cold every day.)
今日は、雲が多いので余計寒いです。(It’s even colder today because there are a lot of clouds.)
気温が低くても　太陽が出ると元気も出ます。(Even though the temperature is low, the sun comes out and I feel better.)
ベランダの温室の野ボタンの花が奇麗です。(The wild peonies in the greenhouse on the balcony are beautiful.)
庭には、ノースポールと黄梅の花が咲くだけです。(In the garden, only North Pole and yellow plum flowers are blooming.)
今年は、ストック、パンジー、ビオラは作りませんでした。(This year, I didn’t grow any stocks, pansies, or violas.)
そのため、寒々しい冬の庭になりました。(As a result, it’s a bleak winter garden.)

1月13日快晴、富士山がくっきり見えます。(January 13th, a clear day. Mount Fuji is clearly visible.)

２０２５年が始まりました。(The year 2025 has begun.)
どのような年になるのでしょうか？(What kind of year will it be?)
梅の花が、咲き始めました。(Plum blossoms have started to bloom.)
