３月２０日は、中日です。(March 20th is Chunichi.)
３月２３日は、彼岸明けです。(March 23rd is the end of the equinox.)
餅米の周りに小豆を付けたぼた餅を食べます。(Eat botamochi, which is mochi rice with red beans around it.)

私は明日、姉たちと実家のお墓参りに行きます。(I’m going to visit my parents’ grave with my sisters tomorrow.)

お彼岸の意味→仏教では、この世を「此岸（しがん）」、故人のいる世界を「彼岸（ひがん）」と呼んでいます。((Meaning of Equinox → In Buddhism, this world is called Shigan,'' and the world where the deceased lives is calledHigan.”)

春のお彼岸とは、彼岸と此岸の距離が最も近くなる時期にご先祖を供養する行事のことです。 The spring equinox is an event to commemorate our’s ancestors at the time when the equinox and this shore are the closest.)

お墓参りに行きました。途中、湖の公園で花も見られました。(We went to visit the grave. On the way, we also saw flowers at the lake park.)

今年は、桜の開花が遅れています。(This year, the cherry blossoms bloom late.)

レウィシアやエーデルワイスを植えたいので、ロックガーデンを作ってみました。(I wanted to plant Lewisia and Edelweiss, so I made a rock garden.)

3月末、雨が続きました。今日だけ晴れで、明日、明後日は、雨だそうです。(

At the end of March, it continued to rain. It’s sunny only today, and it’s supposed to rain tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.)

晴れ間の富士山が奇麗でした。(Mt. Fuji was beautiful on a sunny day.)

３月１１日、午後２時過ぎに強い揺れがありました。(On March 11th, there was a strong tremor just after 2pm.)

今まで、経験したことのない強い揺れでした。恐怖を感じました。(It was the strongest shaking I had ever experienced. I felt scared.)

あれから１３年もたったのです。毎年、この時期は、マスコミが、追悼番組を放映します。(It’s been 13 years since then. Every year around this time, the media broadcasts memorial programs.)

首都圏にも以前から大地震が来るといわれています。(It has been said that a major earthquake will hit the Tokyo metropolitan area.)

備えを忘れてはいけないなと思います。(I think we should not forget to be prepared.)

今年の１月１日の能登半島地震は、マグニチュード７、東日本大震災は、マグニチュード９です。(The Noto Peninsula earthquake on January 1st of this year had a magnitude of 7, and the Great East Japan Earthquake had a magnitude of 9.)

地震列島日本に住んでるので、物品と心の準備が必要です。(I live in Japan, an earthquake archipelago, so I need to be prepared both physically and mentally.)

３月３日は、ひな祭りです。最初は、平安時代から始まり、いろいろ変化してきました。江戸時代から、女の子が生まれると、その娘にひな人形を用意して初節句を祝うようになり、不幸はその娘の身代わりとなって人形に受けてもらい、健やかな成長と幸せな人生を願いました。現在も同じです。(It first started in the Heian period and has undergone many changes. Since the Edo period, when a girl was born, people would prepare a Hina doll for her daughter to celebrate her first festival, and the doll would take care of her misfortunes in place of her daughter, wishing her a healthy growth and happiness. I wished for a happy life. The same is true today.)

我が家は、娘が、結婚して独立したので、人形だけ飾ります。(My daughter got married and became independent, so we only display dolls in our house.)

8日、春の雪が降りました。(Spring snow fell on the 8th.)

3月9日、ハクモクレンが咲きました。(On March 9th, the white magnolia bloomed.)

毎年、これが咲くと本格的な春の始まりを感じます。(Every year, when this blooms, I feels like the beginning of full-fledged spring.)
